What does a visit cost?
One admission price gives access to the exhibitions of Museum Maluku in Museum Sophiahof. Children up to and including 12 years old always get in free.

Frequently asked questions about tickets
Is the museum open on Monday?
No. Museum Maluku is closed on Monday. From Tuesday to Sunday you are welcome between 11.00 and 17.00 hrs.
Do I still need a ticket if I have a Museumkaart?
No. With a valid Museumkaart you have free admission; you show the card upon entry.
Do children pay admission?
Children up to and including 12 years old have free admission. For young people from 13 to 17 years old, the youth rate applies.
When does the discounted rate apply?
The discounted rate applies to holders of a Veteranenpas, CJP or Ooievaarspas, and to groups of fifteen people or more.
Is the museum open in summer?
The museum is closed from 27 July to 2 August 2026 inclusive. Outside that week, the usual opening hours apply.
Can I enter with a wheelchair or pushchair?
Yes. The museum is accessible by lift and there is an adapted toilet. Read more about accessibility.
