Community
From the community
Museum Maluku is not just a place to look at. What is preserved here has been brought together by people who are themselves part of this story and it is still being added to. Visitors here are also makers of meaning.

Collection
Dive into the collection
Not a closed database, but an archive that keeps growing. Every object carries names, places and events with it, far from all of them known.
Archive
From the photo archive
One of thousands of photographs from the first decades in the Netherlands. The names of many of the people pictured were never recorded.

Become part of the living archive
An archive only stays alive if people keep adding to it. What isn't recorded now— a name with a photo, a story told at the table, a box in the attic—can no longer be traced in twenty years. Taking part isn't extra here: it's how this collection came to be.
