The online collection of Museum Maluku is available and is being expanded step by step. More material is being added, descriptions are being supplemented and the way you can search is still changing.
That makes this a good moment to test how it works in practice. Not whether you think it looks good, but what you did with it: what you used it for, what you noticed, what didn't work and what you're missing.
This consultation is at the level of co-developing: your input goes to the people working on unlocking the collection, and the outcome partly determines which improvements are tackled first.
What exactly is this about?
What you can influence
Which improvements to the online collection are tackled first, how you can search, what is shown for an object, and which entry points (place, period, connections) are added.
What is already fixed
That the collection stays online and continues to be made accessible. Also fixed: what we may and may not show based on agreements with rights holders and lenders, and that privacy-sensitive material will not be made public. Those boundaries lie outside this consultation.
