Changes to the Board of Museum Maluku
In October 2026, the board of the Moluccan Historical Museum Foundation welcomes three new members: Petra Jordan joins as treasurer, while Joao Loupatty and Nathan Papilaja join as general board members.
They succeed Lydia Sahetapy Engel and treasurer Ruud van Gessel, both of whom are stepping down after completing the maximum board term of eight years. Sara Taihuttu had already stepped down after serving for more than five years.
Museum Maluku thanks Lydia Sahetapy Engel, Ruud van Gessel and Sara Taihuttu for their many years of dedication, commitment and contribution to the museum’s development.
