Adjusted opening hours over the Christmas holidays
Museum Maluku keeps adjusted opening hours over the Christmas holidays. From Friday 23 December 2022 through Sunday 1 January 2023 the Museum Maluku office is closed. The team cannot be reached during these days. Questions can be sent to info@museum-maluku.nl and will be picked up as soon as possible in the new year. Museum Sophiahof is open (check the opening hours) for a visit to the exhibitions. And there is more to experience in the field of Moluccan art & culture in the Netherlands. Read more here.

Museum Sophiahof is open over the Christmas holidays, with the exception of 24 December, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Would you like to fill the Christmas break with culture? At the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam you can see the exhibition Spirituele Urgentie. Through four themes, the exhibition shows why spirituality is indispensable to the artistic and personal development of the makers, as well as to navigating today's complex world. The exhibition was curated by Eliza Bordeaux of the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam.
In the group exhibition When Things Are Beings at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, 24 projects, including work by artist Hatutamelen, connect the material and immaterial world: they draw links between ideas and objects, spirituality and materiality, and tie social questions to tangible things.
Together with the Steenbergen Stichting, the Nederlands Fotomuseum presents the twenty-fifth edition of the Steenbergen Stipendium. Five students from the Dutch art academies, among them multidisciplinary artist Sebastiaan 'Utju' Boot, are nominated for the prize for young photographic talent in the Netherlands. When you visit the exhibition you can cast your vote (until 8 January 2023).
