On Saturday 14 March 2020 we were all going to go on an expedition through more than 20 museums and cultural institutions across The Hague and Voorburg. Museum Sophiahof was taking part for the first time too, with an exciting programme: Ekspedisi Indië. Unfortunately the programme has been cancelled. But hold on to your ticket for now!
It is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that Museum Night Kids The Hague on Saturday 14 March is cancelled.
After careful consultation with the board of the Stichting Nederlandse Museumnacht Kids, the organisers and all participating museums, we have decided that we do not consider it responsible to expose visitors, including many children, volunteers and staff to the risk of COVID-19 (coronavirus).
This decision is in line with the government's new guidelines to cancel all events with more than 100 visitors and to close museums.
We ask everyone who has a ticket or wristband to keep it safe. At a later stage we will look at whether Museum Night Kids The Hague can still be held on another date this year or whether another form of compensation is possible. We will keep you informed.
