ENJOYING LIFE IS THE GREATEST ART.
Among other things, I restore antique and modern furnishings, often commissioned by insurance companies. I'm also frequently sent abroad for repair or maintenance work on expensive yachts. There, I restore wood and leather, or parts that have been damaged through wear or accidents. For that kind of work they charge 1 to 1.5 million euros per linear metre, so the standards are correspondingly high. I also repair leather upholstery for car brands such as Bentley and Ferrari.
I'm also a model besides that. I'm very fashion-minded and had friends who worked in fashion and modelling.
Modelling appealed to me too. My beard naturally plays a big part in that, it's my branding. I'm often selected for that. At a certain point I was discovered by the brand PIG & HEN. They were looking for a rugged streetstyle model with a beard and came to me. I'm now sort of ‘the face’ of the brand. I also do a lot for Amsterdenim, an Amsterdam denim brand.
Among Moluccans, I'm one of the few male models. In my spare time I exercise a lot to stay in shape. Again, I know I have a good beard, that's just how it is. Wherever I go, I attract a lot of attention. So I take good care of it.
