ROLE MODELS - 70 Moluccan success stories
This book is my answer to what happened to the Moluccan community in the 1970s, after our parents set foot on uncertain Dutch ground in 1951.
It is my tribute to the generation that raised the seventy people portrayed.
In this way I want to show how Moluccans have developed reactive leadership into creative leadership, in a society that seems barely able to grasp the life pain of the Moluccan people.
Ed is second generation. Son of Private 2nd Class Jacob Leatemia and Martha Sahusilawane. The Leatemia family arrived in the port of Amsterdam on 29 April 1951 aboard the ship New Australia.
