Where images become stories: on 20 March we opened the exhibition In eigen woorden for invited guests. What is now visible in the hall began in the weeks before at a long table. Among boxes, envelopes and stacks of photographs we worked intensively with a group of volunteers on one clear but ambitious task: selecting some 500 images that would form the basis of the exhibition.

The seventh and final part of the temporary exhibition IKAT – ‘Rituals around marriage’ by Collectief Teru, made up of Atêf Sitanala, Jaïr Pattipeilohy and Lesli Taihuttu – can now be seen in the museum.
