Nominated for the VriendenLoterij Museum Prize!

The VriendenLoterij Museum Prize, a collaboration between the Cultuurfonds, the VriendenLoterij and the Museums Association, has nominated Museum Maluku and the Indisch Herinneringscentrum with our exhibition ONS LAND – Dekolonisatie, generaties, verhalen!

The prize of 100,000 euros is awarded each year to a Dutch museum with distinctive presentations or activities within a changing theme. The jury determines the theme and chooses the nominees. The theme for this year is Living traditions: intangible heritage and museums. In the end the public chooses the winner.

This summer the jury will visit the seven candidates on the longlist. Ultimately a selection of three museums will go through to a public voting round.
