In Baku Dengar, archive, identity and memory come together in an exhibition that refuses to see history as something closed off. Numane's installation Buaya moves between the self and bodily expression. Through symbolism around the crocodile, the work explores themes such as resilience, transformation and the way history lodges itself in the body.
